Cancellations & Exchanges
Cancellations can be made for a full refund up until the order is packed. Once the order is processed for shipping, customers must follow the below return policy.
Exchanges can be made on incorrectly ordered products, but customers will be responsible for any additional shipping charges incurred, and the shipping cost to return the incorrect product.
Return Policy & Refunds
If you receive a product that is damaged or defective, or if we have made an error on your shipment, please accept our apologies and contact us within 30 days of receipt, so we can correct the error as quickly as possible. We accept returns on all unopened, unused products, within 30 days of receipt. We issue refunds upon receiving and inspecting the returned product.
If your order was shipped for free and is returned, but not considered faulty, damaged or shipped in error, you will be responsible for any shipping charges incurred for originally shipping the order to you and for return shipping costs.
Because our products are food items manufactured under strict, state-of-the-art safety standards, we cannot accept returns on opened products. However, if you experience an issue with your salt, please contact our customer service team.
Incorrect Address, Non-Deliverable, and Refused Shipments
Orders that have been returned to us will be handled in a timely manner by our customer service team. If we have made an error, we will re-send the shipment to the correct address immediately at no cost to you. If the customer has made the address error, the customer will need to pay the cost of reshipping.
If the customer has refused the shipment because they changed their mind on the order, the order will be treated as a return.

Q: Can I return an opened bag of salt?
A: For health and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns on opened food products. However, our chef-led flavor engineering team stands behind our quality. If there is a defect, please contact us and we’ll find a solution that works for you.
Q: Why are there small grains of my Himalayan Salt that won't dissolve?
A: If you notice a small amount of sediment at the bottom of your pot, don't worry. Because our Sherpa Pink® Himalayan Salt is a raw, unrefined rock salt mined from ancient seabeds, it contains up to 84 trace minerals, including calcium, magnesium, and iron oxide. While the sodium chloride dissolves quickly, these hardier essential minerals remain in their natural state and may take longer to break down.
