What is your typical response time for customer inquiries?

We respond to all customer emails and form submissions within one business day, Monday through Friday. For urgent order issues, calling 1.800.480.4540 is the fastest way to reach us.

How do I track my order?

Once your order ships, you'll receive a tracking email with a link to follow your package in real time. If you haven't received a shipping confirmation, check your spam folder first, then email customerservice@sfsalt.com with your order number.

Do you offer free shipping?

Yes. Standard orders over $49 ship free. Wholesale orders up to 400 lbs also qualify for free shipping when placed directly on our website. Orders over 400 lbs are handled by our freight team, contact us for a quote.

Can I change or cancel my order after it has been placed?

We process orders quickly, so changes aren't always possible once an order is submitted. Call us as soon as possible, during normal business hours, with your order number and we'll do our best to accommodate you before it ships. After hours, you can email us at customerservice@sfsalt.com and we will attempt to accommodate your request.

Do you ship internationally?

We do not currently offer international shipping, but we are actively looking into solutions to make this a future option. We appreciate your interest.

What is your return or refund policy?

If something arrived damaged or isn't what you expected, email customerservice@sfsalt.com within 30 days of receiving your order. We'll make it right. Full details are on our Refund Policy page.

Are your salts safe for people with dietary restrictions, gluten-free, allergen-free?

Yes. All San Francisco Salt Company products are certified gluten-free, allergen-free, BPA-free, PFAS-free, and pesticide-free. Our Artisan Salt Blends are additionally FDA-certified organic. If you have a specific dietary concern, email us and we'll give you the exact information you need.
